Hair has been an issue for me lately. As of now it sits just above my shoulders and I have been growing it out from a bob. Back when I was a straight size model, I had both long and short and worked equal amounts with both. When I became a plus model I chopped it off (not the best decision I ever made) I tend to be the kind of person that changes something about their looks when going through a transition, and its usually my hair. My Booker at the time thought it would make me stand out, and that it did. But I didn’t realize how many plus clients are leary of short hair. Long hair is always the safe option, so they book it. Now, there have been the clients that I work for that love my hair and how different it is, but even though you can put extensions on someone, its just not the same. A model’s hair will make or break them.
I do love my hair when its short (so does my husband, he met me with an Amelie haircut!) but I feel its time to grow it out. So for now its time for some deep conditioning and watching hair tutorials on styling for my length of hair. Oh, and taking supplements! Which work by the way, my hair has been growing so fast I have to touch up my roots a lot more often recently! What do you guys prefer? Short or Long hair?

Speaking of hair tutorials, here is one of my favorites by my good friend Reagan from Hairdresser on Fire. I can’t wait to try this when my hair is a tiny bit longer!

I would have to say I like your hair shorter. p.s. I’m a hairstylist.
Hi!
I get told I should have my hair both ways but unfortunately I seem to book more work with longer hair. Thanks for stopping by! The pictures of Yellowstone on your blog are incredible!!
you’re beautiful, I miss you and I love your blog. btw: being pregnant does wonders for growing your hair out… I’m just sayin
Hi Linda!
Thanks so much for commenting! We sure miss you guys over here! Jealous you get to live back in the NW! And I have heard that being pregnant makes your hair grow faster haha
I think you rock both looks, but I always prefer short hair. I keep saying I’m going to grow my hair out…it never happens. And, being pregnant really, really, REALLY does wonders for your hair.
Hi, you’re soooo beautiful ! And I don’t mean just on all the model pictures
I understand your dilemma with the hair length, but short hair suits you better, and it really brings out your face and bone structure. So just wanted to say that…
Thanks! And thanks so much for stopping by
Wonderful expression. You are a beauty!!
woohoo!
Love both of them on you! I’ve been having a hard time grow my hair out as well so I just wanted to ask what hair supplements you have been taking?? Thank you!
Hi Elizabeth!
thanks for your comment! I take a women’s multivitamin (from Whole Foods) and a biotin supplement.
