This is day 8 of my challenge. The practice today felt great, I have improved a lot with the postures and flexibility. I have lost some weight, (I never weigh myself) I know this because my clothes are looser. I feel an overall sense of calmness that I didn’t before, even my husband commented this week that I was more patient than usual. I have also noticed my skin has been very clear.(this could be from what I eat, but this form of yoga is known to be detoxifying as well) I am feeling great now, but I have to tell you that the first few days I felt like I was melting. (Notice the peeps below) Whoever made this diorama knows exactly what I’m talking about. This is a very accurate description of hot yoga. You just want to give up but you have to stay in that room until its over. There have been several times this week where I asked myself “Why did I ever sign up for this? Should I even continue?” Yes Anna, you should. Because marking off another day feels great, but completing this challenge and improving my mind/body will feel even better.
Heh, cool to see you doing this. Let’s just hope bit of others don’t splatter on you when they melt/explode like in the Peep Picture.
The ultimate gag to the joke would be that your going to Hot Joga with you Peeps.
Keep up the good work!
My family have been working to feel better by dancing to music every day right after my work. It’s a great feeling and the kids sleep better too!
thanks! and yes, that would be the ultimate gag haha
dancing after work is a great idea! I can see you and the kids jamming out, probably really helps with how depressing the winters can be there
That’s awesome that you’re doing so well. I know you’ll be able to finish it! You’re one amazing lady!!!
thanks Kristina! i miss you
This is amazing – I’m loving following your journey. Hugs xox
Thanks Katy!
